All our 2 hour Herm kayak tours can be booked here. There will be one tour a day starting at Shell beach. Available tours and start times are below.
Tour times are dictated by the tidal movements in Herm. Other dates and times may be available but a booking will require a minimum of 4 participants or an equivalent minimum charge.
Puffin Patrol (April – July)
The trips start from our base at Shell beach and travel South past Belvoir bay down to Puffin Bay (where else!)
The small groups are led by an expert kayak instructor and puffin watcher who knows the movements and routines of the puffins intimately as well as the waters around Herm and outlying islets.
Herm Circumnavigation (April – September) Puffins can be sighted on this trip until mid July.
A unique 2 hour circular trip around fascinating Herm Island with views out to all the other main channel islands, a chance to spot seals, dolphins, peregrines and much more. We might also take the opportunity to stop and explore the Herm silver mine!

(Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult).

WHERE:
Make your way across to Herm by Trident Ferry and meet us on Shell beach at the arranged time.
These tours are tide-dependent, please arrive ready to start at the published times.
Your kayak guides are usually on the same ferry and will be walking to Shell Beach.
WHAT GEAR:
You Bring: Shorts, t-shirt and shoes to get wet. No jeans!
We Provide: Splash jackets, buoyancy aids.
BAD WEATHER:
The trips will only run in suitable conditions. Strong winds may mean we have to postpone or cancel. We will contact you the evening before at the latest to rearrange. Normal terms and conditions apply.
